What is a Writing Retainer?

Since our writers will be spending time creating original concepts for your business, we require a small retainer
before the development stage begins. This will cover the revisions our award-winning
writers will make to the script until you are COMPLETELY SATISFIED and are ready to move into the production phase.

Is the retainer part of the whole commercial budget?
Yes. Your initial investment or retainer will be used toward your overall production budget.

May I get my retainer back if I don't like the script?
Retainers are non-refundable. We are confident that with an
unlimited number of revisions and a staff of professional and award-winning writers, you
are sure to get a script you love.

Once the Commercial Script is completed, may I hire another production
company to produce it?
No. Spot On Media has been making waves in the commercial production industry because of its
creative muscle. We do not believe in selling our ideas to other production companies. The concepts
and scripts created by Spot On Media can only be produced by our production team.

Why the difference in retainer fees?
The producer's package retainer is higher because the ideas are more conceptualized.
The retainer is also higher for the long form projects, because it simply takes longer to write.
