DIARY METHOD:
                 Randomly selected viewers keep diary of programs they watch. They record all the programs
                 watched each day for one week. Supplemented by an additional sample of HHs with electronic meters
                 important in local TV affiliates.

                 ELECTRONIC METHOD:
                 Nielson "People Meter" important in National TV Network Markets. Randomly selected viewer HHs have an
                 electronic "People Meter"  that records:

                 1) When set is on
                 2) The channel the set is tuned to
                 3) How long the set is tuned to that particular channel
                 4) Who is in the room

                 RELEVANT NIELSON TERMS:
                 -HUT (Households Using Television): % of households with TV Sets turned on
                 -RATING: % of HHs tuned to a program (denominator is constant: set is on and off)
                 -SHARE: % of HHs tuned to a program (denominator vaires: all sets are on)
